Vuonna 2006 elokuva-teemalla startannut Jyväskylän Muotipäivät-tapahtuma on teemoissaan kulkenut läpi Fashion Week -kaupunkien: Pariisin, New Yorkin, Milanon ja Lontoon. Vuonna 2011 Muotipäivät uudistuu, kun tapahtuma tuo Jyväskylään, Tampereelle ja Lahteen Barcelona-tunnelmaa!
Jyväskylän Muotipäivät 2.-3.9.2011 on kuudetta kertaa järjestettävä kaksipäiväinen muodin suurtapahtuma Jyväskylän ydinkeskustassa. Muotipäivät on kaupunkia elävöittävä muodin suurtapahtuma, joka aktivoi liikkeitä kaupunkikeskustan alueelta ja tarjoaa kuluttajalle muotinäytöksiä, shoppailuelämyksiä, kauden trendejä ja tapahtumatarjouksia! Muotitapahtumassa on mukana vaateliikkeitä, kauneudenhoitokeskuksia, tavarataloja, ravintoloita, kahviloita, parturi‐kampaamoja, koru‐, kenkä- ja silmälasiliikkeitä. Mukana vuoden 2010 Muotipäivissä oli Jyväskylässä yli 100 yritystä.
Muotipäivät esittelee syysmuodin uusimmat linjat ja trendit. Jyväskylän Muotipäivien muotinäytökset nähdään Kauppakadun kompassilla sijaitsevalla katetulla päälavalla, sekä kauppakeskuksissa. Asiantuntijaluennot pidetään sisätiloissa, jotta luennoista saadaan mahdollisimman interaktiivisia yleisön näin halutessa. Jyväskylän Muotipäivillä voit shoppailla perjantaina 2.9.2011 klo 23 asti! Tapahtumatarjouksia päästään hyödyntämään tapahtuman jälkeenkin uuden FU Shop -etukortin avulla. Mukana olevat liikkeet ja tapahtumatarjoukset löydät tapahtuman käsiohjelmasta, jota on jaossa mukana olevissa liikkeissä sekä tapahtuman infopisteellä Kauppakadulla tapahtuman ajan.

Muotipäivien juhlavaa päätösgaalaa, La Fiesta Española 2011, vietetään Jyväskylässä lauantaina 3.9.2011. Paikka ja ohjelma julkaistaan myöhemmin.
Style Nights -illat
PARHAAT BILETYYLIT PALKITAAN!
Style Nights tulee jälleen syksyllä 2011! Style Nights -illat ovat Jyväskylän Muotipäiviä ennakkomarkkinoivia iltoja. Style Nights -illoissa etsitään upeinta teeman mukaista biletyyliä, joita valokuvataan Style Nights -iltojen aikana Fashion Unitin kuvaajan toimesta. Iltojen parhaat biletyylit pääsevät mukaan äänestykseen kilpailemaan vuoden 2011 parhaasta biletyylistä.
Iltojen muotinäytökset toteutetaan eri teemojen mukaisesti Fashion Unitin toimesta.

Year 2006 was the Jyväskylä’s Muotipäivät -event arranged for the first time with a movie theme. The themes of the event have gone through the Fashion Week cities: Paris, New York, Milan and London. Year 2011 the event is renewed by bringing Barcelona atmosphere to Jyväskylä, Tampere and Lahti!
Jyväskylä’s Muotipäivät 2.-3.9.2011 is a big, two days lasting fashion event arranged for sixth time in Jyväskylä’s city center. Muotipäivät invigorates the city and activates the shops in the city center. Fashion shows, shopping experiences, seasonal trends and event offers are given to the consumer! There are cloth stores, beauty salons, shopping malls, restaurants, cafés, hairdressers, barbershops, jewelry shops, shoe shops and eyeglass shops participating in the fashion event. More than 100 companies took part in Jyväskylä’s Muotipäivät year 2010.
Muotipäivät introduces newest lines and trends in the autumn fashion. The shows during Jyväskylä’s Muotipäivät are seen on the main stage at Kompassi on Kauppakatu and in shopping malls. Lectures by professionals are held inside in order to get the lectures more interactive with the audience. You can shop until 23 o’clock on Friday evening 2.9.2011 on Jyväskylä’s Muotipäivät! The event offers can be utilized during and after the event with the new FU Shop -advantage card. The companies participating and the event offers can be found in the program brochure, which are hand out in the participating shops and at the info spot at Kauppakatu during the event.

The festive final gala of Jyväskylä’s Muotipäivät, La Fiesta Española 2011, is celebrated in Jyväskylä on Saturday 3.9.2011. The place and the program are published later.
The Style Nights
THE BEST PARTY STYLES WILL BE REWARDED!
Style Nights will be back in autumn 2011! The Style Nights are events that pre-market Jyväskylä’s Muotipäivät. The most fabulous ensemble suitable with the theme is searched in the Style Nights. The party styles are photographed by Fashion Unit’s photographer during the nights. The fiercest party styles will take part in a voting where the winner will be rewarded as the best party style of the year 2011.
The Style Nights’ fashion shows with different themes are produced by Fashion Unit. The Style Nights’ places and programs will be published later.
